Scrapbooking. Christmas card by sketch.

I was browsing through challenge blogs and found a great sketch from ArtUgolok. Here's the sketch itself:

The funny thing is that it is due today :) Doing work at the last moment.

Well, muse came quickly to me and after 15 minutes I knew exactly what paper and what details the card would have.
I got a package yesterday with lots of new paper and I fell in love with BoBunny collection!

Here's my card. I absolutely love it! And that's why it's my present for my boyfriend :)

Another work that I made for a challenge. The task is very interesting. Special Day Cards challenged to make a card/page - anything with numbers as main theme and it should be dedicated to birthday.

Blog advice

Scrapbooking. Wedding card.

Sometimes it's so great to find out about good news later than others! I was in the hospital for a couple of weeks. After I came back to work I got a huuuuuge pile of emails. One of them was that my co-worker got married! Great news! I made a card to congrat her.

Today I was trying to arrange my scrapbooking stuff and came by a box where I keep small attributes. So I decided to scrap it. Came out blueish, but I like it :)

Scrapbooking. Angel card.

Recently I got an idea to make a present for my colleague and a good friend who is pregnant. When I thought of things she likes i remembered that she is collecting angels, so this was the main idea of the card :)
It took me a long time to find a good image of the angel, yet I had to improvize.

Here's what I made.

Background I made myself with paint, patterns on angel's wings, face, cloud and star I also made myself. Overall, i think the angel is pretty cute :)

Scrapbooking + vacation

Next week I will be on vacation and decided to make a small competition :)

In July a Ukrainian scrapbooking store has a birthday. In this honor they are making a candy.

Scrapbooking. Card for sketch #19.

This weekend I decided to scrap a little and I got 2 beautiful cards for different challenges. Here's my first one.

It was made for Sketch #19 challenge from ILOVESCRAP blog. Very nice sketch and very inspiring works of girls.

Here's what resulted from my inspiration:

Decided to make it in a "love" way because of the paper i got recently - I really wanted to use something from that collection.

I distressed the edges of the small pictures. Each ink was in line with the color on the image. Also, used my border punches and figured scissors.

 For the text I used sticker I had and some cute paper to stress out the label. Fans on the sides came to my mind spontaneously. But i think they look nice here.

After we've returned from Competency week, we had a birthday of our co-worker. Of course I made a card for her :)

Inspired by our trip I decided to make a card with travelling theme. Also, used my news attributes - scissors and punches.

After that I decided to check new posts in blogs that i follow and guess what? :) I found a challenge with sky theme! such on time! So, i'm participating there with this card.

Cyprus

I haven't forgotten about the blog. I was in Cyprus on department competence week. This is such a beautiful place! I could not imagine that work can be so inspiring and relaxing! :)

Scrapbooking. Card with clock.

This time I am participating in a very inspiring challenge from ScrapMagic blog. The task is to use required pallette and clock.

Fortunately i received a package with some new paper and decorations, so I was excited to try them! Here's  my small page. 

The materials I used were: Echo Park This and That Graceful Collection, sticker also from this collection.

For the middle part I used my new flower and brads that just recently came. One flower I used to make leaves. I really enjoyed how it looks.

For paper with a clock I used some figured scissors "torn edges" and distress ink to make edges look old.

For the back of the page I will write a small text which I will not reveal for now ;)

Men in Black III

This weekend we went to see the movie "Men in Black III". Before that while we were waiting for a friend, we took some pictures in front of Kosmos hotel.

The water was warm :)

This time I am participating in ILOVESCRAP blog challenge called Mix. The task is to use flags, some paint (not sprays) and rope or cord.

I decided to make a list for a notebook for a friend. Paper is from This and That cardstock collection, flags I cut and made from the same paper. As a contrast I paced beneath the flags fabric-like paper.

On flags I painted with white gouashe word "FRIENDS". Between the flags I made some eyelets for the cord.

Cord is metallic.

Hope she'll like it! ;)

Scrapbooking. Impulse card.

Yesterday my friend called me with tears in her voice telling about unjustice at work. She was so upset that I decided to make a small card to cheer her up. This is what came up from my imagination.

I wanted to make it bright and sunny, so I used paper from my new collection About a girl.

At the side I used a border punched paper strip and a label from Echo Park This and That collection.

At the bottom there is a flower with a brad inside, all on a fabric-like paper.

Inside the paper looks calm - ideally to make an accent with some label. This label was also taken from Echo Park This and That collection.

And a "Cheer up" label :)

The back has a handwritten message "made with love by katyapetrovna".
